Accessibility on intercity buses
All major US and Canadian intercity bus operators are subject to ADA-equivalent accessibility regulations and provide wheelchair lifts, securement, and priority seating on request.
Megabus
Most Megabus coaches have a wheelchair lift and securement positions. Travelers needing accommodation should request it at the time of booking and again 24 hours before departure via Megabus customer service.
Service animals
Service animals are allowed on all major intercity carriers without additional fee. ESA rules vary by operator; contact customer service in advance to confirm.
Priority boarding
Travelers with mobility limitations may pre-board ahead of the general queue. Notify the driver at the curb on arrival.
Stop accessibility
Curbside stops are not always wheelchair-accessible. Check the operator stop description and contact customer service if you need a stop change.
